Penha Longa golf courses offer three different circuits: Atlantic Championship, Atlantic North and Atlantic South, providing completely different experiences throughout the amazing hills of Sintra and the resort. Penha Longa Atlantic Championship Course is an 18-hole championship course that has been ranked within the top 30 courses in Europe and has held the Portuguese Open numerous times. A challenging course, it features dramatic holes that are cut through the resort’s sloping landscape. The signature hole is hole 6, a par 5 that is listed in the top 500 holes in the world. Admire the Roman Aqueduct as you play and the large lake to your left. The Atlantic South Course combines the back 9 of the Atlantic Championship Course with the former Monastery Course. Its 18-hole layout is less undulating and is certainly not as challenging, but the views of the Sintra Mountains are awe-inspiring as are the stunning lakes that surround the course.
