Enjoy an unforgettable holiday in Portugal.
The Palácio Estoril Hotel & Golf is a lavish and luxurious 1930s spa retreat that exudes Old World charm and character.
Situated 20 minutes from Lisbon in the coastal town of Estoril, next to a casino, the hotel is in a prime position for accessing local golf courses, including the hotel-owned Golf do Estoril, an enchanting course which has hosted the Portuguese Open 20 times.
Whilst golfers are out enjoying a round on the golf course, non-golfers can stroll to the beautiful beach, relax in the hotel’s sumptuous Banyan Tree Spa, work-out in the gym, swim in the indoor or outdoor pools, or detox in the sauna or Turkish bath. There are also two restaurants at the hotel and a charming bar.
Welcoming and cosy despite its grandeur, the Palácio Estoril is surrounded by divine gardens and boasts outstanding views over Estoril and the Bay of Cascais. The five-star accommodation is sumptuous, elegant and classical, finished with modern amenities. Choose between spacious and comfortable rooms or stylish and luxurious suites.
Palácio Estoril is famous, too. In 1968, the James Bond film On her Majesty’s Secret Service was filmed here. The exterior of the hotel, the lobby, the pool and the rooms all feature in the film. José Diogo, who works on the Concierge Desk, was lucky to be featured in the film, and he still works at the hotel now.
The ideal golfer’s retreat, the Palácio Estoril Hotel & Golf is ideal for discerning couples seeking a luxury golfing holiday in Lisbon.
