I have been working in the golf travel business since 1999. I have worked with suppliers from all over the world in that time and I count myself as very lucky to have visited some incredible places.

Undoubtedly the highlight is visiting the Masters at Augusta. Every golfer should aim to go once in their lifetimes (at least). Bearing in mind the hype around the event, it genuinely exceeds all expectations. It is a very special place and the ultimate bucket-list experience.

My favourite courses I have played are Pebble Beach Golf Links and Valderrama. Pebble Beach blows your mind! It is a gentle opening for the first couple of holes but when you are half-way down the 4th hole, the Pacific comes into view and stays on your right-hand side for the next 7 holes. The short 7th is obviously amazing but I love the 8th even better with a knee-knocking second shot over the sea. Of course, the 18th is also an awe-inspiring finish. Valderrama in Southern Spain is just outstanding. It has a lot of history with Seve’s 1997 Ryder Cup being played there. I love the design which requires you to think your way around the course and it is also always in immaculate condition.

My personal favourites in terms of destinations are South Africa and the US. They do say that South Africa is a world in one country and that pretty much sums it up. It is a holiday with golf rather than a golf holiday because there is so much to see and do. Cape Town is my favourite city in the world with beaches, wine, Table Mountain and stunning golf courses. However, there is also the spectacular Garden Route, Safaris, Kwazulu Natal and so much more. The USA is an absolute must-visit country for golfers. There are so many different States to go and play golf with so much variety. My own preferences are South Carolina and California, both with stunning coastlines and world-class golf with the best service that you will get anywhere.

I like to think I have a pretty good range of experience of golfing around the world and am always on hand to offer advice or recommendations.

Since my first Saturday job working for a Tour Operator despatching tickets, I knew I would continue with a career in travel. It’s something I have always been passionate about and over the past 20 years I have been lucky enough to visit some of the most beautiful places on Earth. Since joining Luxury Worldwide Collection, I have visited some amazing locations in Europe, Middle East and the Indian Ocean, and more recently, extended my knowledge of the Caribbean with a fabulous trip to Barbados.

One of my favourite destinations is the Far East, which I know intimately! I love it for the culture, the people, the beaches and its unique atmosphere. The Maldives are also very special to me. The resorts there represent the ultimate in luxury and I love the different shades of blue, from the sea to the sky.

I pride myself on being conscientious. I think my colleagues would describe me as fun and genuine. My passion is creating complex itineraries based on my extensive travel experience.

I started my Travel Career with work experience many years ago… and I knew then my passion would be in this industry. With now over 25 years of experience, I’ve been fortunate to carve out a successful career within a variety of well-established, luxury travel specialists, and am excited to be part of the Luxury Worldwide Collection Team.

With a passion for creating dream holidays, I have exceptional knowledge of California, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, Israel and Thailand, and remain experienced worldwide due to my extensive travelling.

One of my favourite hotels is the St Regis Mauritius which is located on a gorgeous white sandy beach. The butler service is exceptional, and the sunset views are absolutely stunning. I would recommend this hotel for both families and honeymooners!

I pride myself on delivering holidays on brief and on budget, as this has allowed me to build a reputation with repeat clients and business over the years.

Digital Marketing & Website Manager

I joined EFR Travel in 2016 as Digital Marketing & Website Manager where it is my responsibility to take care of everything to do with our online presence. Unlike my colleagues who are all travel fanatics, my expertise lies with PPC, SEO, Social Media and Email Marketing.  In fact, everything digital!  But with travel being a close second, this is the perfect position for me.

I love the varied nature of my role and the freedom to be creative and express myself.  I think my colleagues would describe me as driven, patient and analytical, which I think are necessary traits to have when you’re dealing with the challenges of digital marketing!

My favourite destination is Bali for its picture-perfect paradisiacal scenery. Our stay at The St. Regis Bali Resort was out of this world and I’d love to return someday…

When I’m not chained to my laptop or travelling my other passion is football, and for my sins, I’m an avid follower of Peterborough United.

I have worked in travel for over 20 years starting off as an apprentice for a catholic pilgrimage tour operator eventually moving into cruise and worldwide travel. I built exciting itineraries to exotic destinations around the Far East / Asia / Africa and Australia and New Zealand, as well as land and cruise package combinations. The best move I have made within the last 10 years has been working in the luxury sector, allowing me to work closely with luxury hotel partners.

I have had a travel bug from a very young age and working in the travel industry has allowed me to see some amazing destinations. My personal travel experience has given me the opportunity to indulge in some luxury stays. I choose destinations that will allow me to enjoy my hobby, I am a keen hiker and mountain climber and enjoy spending a week climbing some of the high peaks in the country I am visiting, followed by a recuperating stay in a top hotel. Hiking and adventure travel can take you off the beaten path and see sides of a country that are hidden gems – this is perfect for the budding Instagram photographers!

It is so hard to pinpoint my favourite destination, but I can say the most fascinating country I visited is Japan. I have learned so much about the country and culture and am very passionate when selling it as a destination. If you want an adventurous spin to your holiday with luxury pampering at the end then I am happy to advise and help plan this for you.
