Enjoy an unforgettable holiday in the Dominican Republic.
Nestled on the edge of an idyllic lagoon on the east coast of Mauritius, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita is a tropical haven that exudes opulence.
Boasting beautiful thatch-roofed luxury villas, each with a private pool and mesmerising views of the lagoon, sea or gardens, this five-star resort has every ingredient needed for a fabulous golf holiday in Mauritius.
Peaceful and secluded, the resort has 64 acres of land just for guests, with four outdoor pools, a private beach, an award-winning spa, an Ernie Els-designed golf course, a tortoise garden and a boat shuttle service to an exclusive beach on Ile Aux Cerfs – where you can order a drink from a swinging bar stool, dine on freshly-caught seafood, soak up the sun on a lounger, or play golf on the Bernard Langer signature course (complimentary green fees).
On golf-free days guests can spend a few hours or a full day at the award-winning spa, which sits on stilts above the crystal-clear lagoon. There is an array of different treatments on offer, from facials to massages and body scrubs, as well as a swimming pool, outdoor relaxation area and space for yoga classes. As the resort sits in a privileged location amongst a natural lagoon, the calm water is ideal for watersports and swimming. Plus, this sheltered spot is home to many species of fish, so snorkelling is encouraged to explore this colourful underwater world. Alternatively, explore the grounds of the resort by bike and admire the lush gardens and lagoon; relax in the infinity-edge pool; or play tennis.
Families will enjoy the two children’s clubs, as well as endless activities that are available to enjoy as a group. The glass-bottom boat trips are an exciting experience, or perhaps you would like to practise yoga together besides the lagoon.
When it comes to dining, there are three fine restaurants serving a huge variety of gastronomic delights, including a modern French restaurant close to the water’s edge.

Choose from three spectacular gastronomic offerings at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita. Beau Champ is a classic French restaurant where dishes are crafted in an open kitchen, using fresh local produce including seafood. Diners can eat indoors or outdoors at the water’s edge. Bambou is a laid-back open-air restaurant, serving Mauritian, Indian and Chinese meals during the evening, and a wide variety of lunch options including tapas, pizza and pasta, meat and seafood. For an extra special dinner, the “Marmit Granmere” of lobster and wine is a traditional method of cooking – a six-course menu with wine pairing is available with advance booking. For a chic, stylish dining experience, head to Acquapazza at the water’s edge, serving handcrafted Italian specialties, pairing freshly-caught seafood and fine wines. Meanwhile, O-Bar is perfect for after-dinner cognacs and hand-rolled cigars, or a cold midday beer in the sun.
The award-winning spa at the Four Seasons Resort Mauritius is elevated upon wooden pillars above the lagoon, surrounded by tropical gardens. The treatments are glorious, from a signature Mauritian Fusion massage to a luxurious body scrub or mask, each personalised to rejuvenate and relax. Take a yoga class on the beach, work-out in the fitness centre, or meditate on the outdoor relaxation area.
Families with children on a golfing holiday in Mauritius will be overwhelmed with the amount of complimentary activities and facilities at Four Seasons Resort. The Hobbit Village Kids’ Club for children aged four to nine features a swimming pool, an amphitheatre and a bakery; whilst older children aged 11 to 18 will enjoy playing computer games, watching films in the cinema, learning how to be a DJ and much more. What’s more, families can enjoy yoga classes and sega dancing classes together, go crab-hunting or line-fishing and cycle around the resort. The Concierge team can even arrange helicopter tours and kayaking on the calm lagoon waters, as well as childcare for adults-only time.
Golf Courses
Guests at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita have complimentary green fees at two championship golf courses: the onsite Anahita Golf Course and the Bernhard Langer signature course at Ile aux Cerfs Golf Club.
Designed by Ernie Els, this 18-hole, par-72 course is a championship course with large fairways and five sets of tees, laid out over a former sugar plantation and nestled between the magnificent mountains and a clear lagoon. Built to USGA standards, it is the first of its kind in Mauritius, and is also the home of Belgian Ryder Cup player Nicolas Colsaerts. The final shot is one of the most spectacular in the world, following six stunning ocean-front holes. Anahita hosted the European Tour’s Mauritius Open in 2018.
This 18-hole course is set in a paradisiac garden on its own beautiful island, with spectacular views of the surrounding lagoon. Designed by Bernard Langer, this par-72 championship course has five sets of tee boxes on each hole, with six stunning ocean-front holes.
