Serenata is a cosy Italian restaurant in a private setting.

The traditional spa at Canonnier Beachcomber is beautifully set amidst the branches of an ancient banyan tree, with unique treatment cabins built rustically into the tree at different levels. There are refreshing outdoor showers to cool off in after a relaxing treatment and spaces to unwind in a tranquil setting.

As a popular family resort in Mauritius, the Canonnier’s Kids Club is outstanding. A highlight is the large safari-style tents for children to play in – each one with a different theme. One is for painting; another is a media space with TV, music and computers; another is a reading tent and the fourth is a games space. There’s also a playground with swings and a cabana.

Set in over 250 acres of Mauritian landscape on a former sugar cane plantation, this 6,200-yard 18-hole, par-72 course is packed with water features, volcanic rock and rolling fairways. Designed by former professional Peter Matkovich, golfers can admire beautiful trees and flowers as they play this fun course. The modern clubhouse is impressive, as is the state-of-the-art driving range. Golfers can also play a few round rounds of golf at Paradis Golf Club, Avalon Golf Estate and Tamarina Golf Estate.
