Offering the opportunity to enjoy complimentary daily golf on a choice of two stunning courses designed by golfing legends Ernie Els and Bernhard Langer, you won’t play two more diverse golf courses than this on the island. The Langer-designed Ile aux Cerfs is located on its own private island, accessible via boat transfer only, whilst the Els-designed Anahita Golf Club is conveniently located onsite and has played host to the European Tour.

Boasting one of the most modern and largest spas in Mauritius, the resort has invested heavily to elevate itself further as a luxury five-star golf and spa resort. On rest days, enjoy a choice of two great beaches or relax around the outdoor pool. Alternatively, the tea-inspired spa is a relaxing haven.

The standard of accommodation is of the highest quality – the Prestige Suites enjoy stunning private plunge pools on the balconies or terraces.

Set amongst 213 hectares of tropical gardens, a beautiful lagoon awaits, teeming with flora and fauna, whilst a smorgasbord of leisure facilities are sure to tempt every guest. The boat house offers complimentary watersports, as well as boat trips and scuba-diving, and nearby there is an adventure park and a natural park with activities including quad-biking, horse-riding and ziplining. Guests can also work up a sweat on golf-free days with a few games of tennis or time in the fitness centre.

Anahita Golf & Spa Resort’s accommodation is a variety of Junior Suites, Prestige Suites and Deluxe Villas.

Located along the first hole of the Ernie Els- designed golf course, the one-bedroom Junior Suite is 60 square-metres, with a private covered entrance, king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with bathtub and shower, kitchenette with dining counter, living area and a veranda with seating overlooking the garden and golf course. Amenities include: complimentary WiFi, air-conditioning, bathrobes, coffee machine, x2 TVs and daily cleaning.

Accommodates: 2 adults.

This 160-square-metre suite features a double bed, en-suite bathroom, fully-furnished gourmet kitchen, spacious living area, guest toilet and a large terrace with infinity-edge plunge pool and golf course or sea views. Amenities include: complimentary WiFi, air-conditioning, bathrobes, coffee machine, x2 TVs and daily cleaning.

Accommodates: 2 persons.

This 180-square-metre suite features two double beds, two en-suite bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, a fully-furnished gourmet kitchen, spacious living area, guest toilet and a large terrace with infinity-edge plunge pool and golf course or sea views. This 240-square-metre suite features two double beds and one twin, three bathrooms including two en-suite bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe, a fully-furnished gourmet kitchen, spacious living area, guest toilet and a large terrace with infinity-edge plunge pool and golf course or sea views. Dining at Anahita Golf & Spa Resort is fabulous, with five restaurants to choose between. There is a fine dining restaurant serving Mauritian specialities, a beach restaurant serving Mediterranean and Mauritian cuisine and an a la carte Trattoria-style restaurant overlooking Ernie Els’ 18th hole. Not far from the resort is an a la carte restaurant with a live cooking station.

Anahita Spa by Thémaé Paris is partnered with French brand Themae, specialising in tea-based products and treatments. There is also a garden area, steam room and tea veranda. Tea based treatments and products are used to stimulate the body and mind for long-lasting wellbeing.

Families will love the Kids Club and nursery, OurSpace. Catering for children from 8 months to 12 years, younger guests can enjoy a fun and educational programme that’s completely tailored to their age. From sand castles and nature walks for children up to two, to boat trips and crafts for 9 to 13 year olds, there are plenty of activities for all.

Golf Courses

Guests at Anahita have complimentary access to two championship golf courses. Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Course is set on its own island, accessible via boat. Anahita Golf Course is located opposite the hotel just a five-minute boat trip away.

This 18-hole course is set in a paradisiac garden on its own beautiful island, with spectacular views of the surrounding lagoon. Designed by Bernard Langer, this par-72 championship course has five sets of tee boxes on each hole.

Designed by Ernie Els, this 18-hole, par-72 course is a championship course with large fairways and five sets of tees. Built to USGA standards, it is the first of its kind in Mauritius, and is also the home of Belgian Ryder Cup player Nicolas Colsaerts. The final shot is one of the most spectacular in the world, following six stunning ocean-front holes.
