Conrad Algarve has three swimming pools – two outdoor and one indoor. The heated infinity pool boasts a fantastic underwater music system, push-button waiter service and a poolside restaurant. The indoor pool is also heated and features a beautiful mosaic floor and underwater music system. If you’d like to take a dip in the sea, take the complimentary shuttle bus to Maria’s Beach, where you will enjoy beach service, sunbeds, parasols, fresh towels and water.
Dining at Conrad Algarve is a culinary experience like no other. Featuring three restaurants – one fine dining, Michelin-starred restaurant – at Conrad Algarve enjoy contemporary Portuguese dishes, traditional Mediterranean cuisine and South American-inspired meals. The absolute highlight is Michelin-starred Gusto, where three-star Michelin chef Heinz Beck serves the finest Mediterranean-style steak and seafood fresh from the grill.

Head to Louro for traditional Mediterranean cuisine; Michelin-Star Gusto for the finest steak and seafood fresh from the grill, with the 3 Michelin Starred Chef Heinz, or to the poolside Dado and Sereno for cocktails, seasonal fresh fruits and artisan ice creams.
Conrad Algarve also allows you to dine in style. ‘Gusto by Heinz Beck’ has established itself as one of the finest restaurants in the region with the Michelin-starred Chef Heinz Beck influencing the superb Mediterranean menu. The ‘Louro’ restaurant offers an intriguing culinary experience by combining fresh local produce with the option of indoor or outdoor dining. If you’re after a refreshing drink by the pool, the poolside bars of ‘Dado’ and ‘Sereno’ are the perfect place to relax with a freshly made cocktail.
Dining here is first-class. Louro is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving modern Portuguese cuisine. Gusto by Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck fuses Mediterranean flavours with Scandinavian design in an open-display kitchen. Dado, the poolside restaurant is more casual and serves South American-inspired dishes.
Golf Courses
Conrad Algarve is a prime golfing hotel of choice for professional golfers, due to its close proximity to many championship golf courses. Guests can take a complimentary shuttle to the Quinta do Lago South, Quinta do Lago North and Quinta do Lago Laranjal courses, whilst Vale do Lobo Ocean, Royal and Pinheiros Altos courses are nearby, too.
Fully redesigned in 2014 by renowned American architect Beau Welling, this 18-hole par 72 course keeps golfers on their toes with its mix of woodland, umbrella pine trees and bunkers and water hazards. Just shy of 6,700 yards in length, the North Course tests your ability to drive the ball.
The South Course was designed by William Mitchell and is a flagship European Tour Course, having hosted the Portuguese Open eight times. Its varying difficulty will challenge golfers of all abilities.The Quinta do Lago South Course measures in longer than the North at a touch over 7,000-yards from the back, giving the big hitters of the ball an advantage on the par 5s.
This 18-hole par 72 parkland course is a stunning, well-manicured course set amongst five lakes, umbrella pines, cork-oaks and orange trees – in fact, the course was formerly an orange grove.
