Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco is a luxurious 5,000-acre country estate situated on the ancient Via Francigena route.
Surrounded by nature, culture and art, the 800-year-old estate sits within the UNESCO-listed Val d’Orcia reserve in the Montalcino wine-making region. There is ancient castle ruins, a medieval church and a historic village called the Borgo, which sits at the heart of the resort.
Proud of the country’s gastronomy, Castiglion del Bosco features a leading Brunello di Montalcino winery, two gourmet restaurants, an organic vegetable garden, a farm and a cooking school.
