This resort is ideally located between Bari & Brindisi Airports is the luxury Borgo Egnazia & San Domenico Golf. As you enter the Borgo Egnazia grounds and approach the hotel you are instantly struck by the shimmer of the Quicklime stone in the sunshine, a local stone used to build this magnificent Hotel which is labelled under the Leading Hotels of the World Stamp.

This opulent resort which is situated in the heart of Puglia, has so much to offer including comfortable accommodation, rustic Italian cuisine most of which is grown on the Hotel grounds and most importantly a challenging yet extremely enjoyable Championship golf course.

The locals are extremely proud to make use of the local produce which surrounds this Hotel, therefore all the produce is fresh, giving you a great excuse to indulge in their home grown Apulian Gastronomy, especially the home made Olive Oil, which is produced on the Hotel’s grounds.The narrow alleys of the Borgo Village are reproduced according to the traditions of the most characteristic Apulian historical centre’s, with the most enchanting Arabian style landscapes.

Borgo Egnazia really does offer a relaxing and peaceful retreat for those looking to enjoy fine foods. There is superb weather from March until November and a championship golf course which has hosted some of Italy’s greatest golf tournaments. Borgo Egnazia is where Justin Timberlake got married in 2012 and has recently won an award as the leading golf resort of Italy. Justin is a very good low handicap golfer so he must have chosen this superb boutique hotel not just for the romance but also for the quality of its golf course.

Offering a large variety of room options, the Hotel is split into three sections, these are the Corte (main Hotel building), Borgo (Courtyard Village) and Villas. The main hotel building comprises of a range of different sized Corte rooms for you to choose from, 60 rooms in total in the main building. All rooms have a contemporary, Mediterranean feel with neutral tones, traditional fabrics and spacious living.

The lead in bedrooms are the Corte Bella room option, standing at a spacious 33-37 square metres these bedrooms offer a variety of courtyard views or sea views (which can be requested upon booking). Each bedroom offers a balcony and the bathrooms are luxuriously fitted including a double sink, bath and shower.

The second room category is the Corte Splendida which offer more space (42 – 46 Square Metres). Again these bedroom types have a spacious balcony, however the benefit of booking this room type is that you will receive a Sea View from your bedroom as standard and also a separate living room area.

The La Corte Magnifica bedrooms are much larger ranging from 60-75 Square Metres in size, boasting two separate living room areas and large balconies.

The 29 villas all have three bedrooms spread over three floors. They are the most luxurious and exclusive accommodation at Borgo Egnazia. Outside, each villa features a private garden, private pool, wrap around balconies and a roof terrace where the stunning panoramic views can be enjoyed. For larger groups it is also possible to take two villas side by side.

Wi-Fi is included throughout this resort, therefore you can pick up internet connection at any point during your stay, whether in your room or in one of the hotel’s restaurants or bars.

Borgo Egnazia’s accommodation is inspired by Puglia’s ancient farmhouses and rural villages, built entirely of rough limestone and local stone. La Corte rooms are sophisticated and elegant, Il Borgo is reminiscent of a traditional Apulian village, and there are a number of stylish Casa, too.

This is a cosy room with a super king-size bed and sofa, stone writing desk and stylish bathroom with shower and bathtub. At 33-37 square-metres, outside there is a private balcony with sea view. (extra charge). Amenities include: WiFi, TV with satellite channels, safe and mini-bar.

At 42-46 square-metres, this room features a bedroom with super king-size bed, a spacious living area with a big sofa and a stone desk. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and bathtub. You have the choice between a panoramic balcony and a secluded garden, both furnished. Amenities include: WiFi, TV with satellite channels, safe and mini-bar.

At 60-75 square-metres, this suite has a bright living area with two sofas, a large stone table and a fireplace. The bedroom has a super king-size bed and the large bathroom has a bathtub and walk-in shower. Outside, the private terrace offers views over the pool, olive groves or the golf course and sea. With its own plunge pool and patio, as well as spacious terrace, this 125-square-metre suite is ideal for honeymooners or couples. Inside is a large living space with relaxation area and stone fireplace and a large bedroom with a super king-size bed and direct access to the en-suite bathroom with central stone bathtub and a huge double walk-in shower. Le Case are the hotels six villas, three-storey townhouses, each equipped with: three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen, living area, basement, terrace, garden and a patio with swimming pool. Dining at Borgo Egnazia is a culinary delight, with an array of rustic and authentic restaurants serving a variety of delicious Apulian and Mediterranean menus. The gourmet menus are overseen by Michelin-starred chef Andrea Ribaldone, and dishes are created using fresh local products, some grown at the hotel. Due Camini was awarded a Michelin Star in 2019 for its cuisine, and Da Frisella is a magical restaurant for children only.

Children aged from 8 months to 12 years are looked after at Borgo Egnazia. Trullalleri Kids Club is a fun-filled club where little guests can enjoy cookery classes, story-telling, dancing and face-painting. The teen club, meanwhile, features go-karting, an adventure park and watersports, to name a few activities. There is even a dedicated children’s restaurant

Vair Spa is award-winning and it’s little wonder why. Here, local ancient healing therapies are integrated in Vair’s unique programmes, using Italian products only. The spa is inspired by a traditional Roman bath house. There is also a swimming pool here and four outdoor tennis courts.

Golf

San Domenico Golf is a wonderful 18-hole course, located where the Pugliancountryside meets the azure of theAdriatic sea. Perfectly nestled between the slopes of the Itria valley and the port of Savelletri, the course features a combination of strategically placed bunkers and an intricate mistral-oriented design, created by architect Andy Haggar. This prestigious links course has been designed by European Golf Design in London with sea-views from every hole. It winds through gentle slopes, zigzagging through ancient olive trees with glimpses of the ancient city of Egnathia. Not surprisingly it has established itself as one of the best golf clubs in Italy and a well-known stage for important national and international tournaments.
