Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort

Mazagan is the place to stay in North Africa, it really has everything you would want from a high quality luxury hotel. Location is so important and this magnificent palace of a hotel is located on a dramatic piece of coastline near El Jadida approximately 1 hour South of Casablanca.

The hotel has direct beach access and it a superb stretch of beach, Magazan actually boasts 7 kms of private beach which is unique in Morocco. The driveway when you enter the resort is long and impressive and gives you immediately that feeling you are arriving somewhere really special.

The resort has circa 500 bedrooms in the main building which range in price depending on location, the prime ocean rooms are superb with uninterrupted views across the Atlantic Ocean and extensive beach which stretches as far as one can see. The partial sea view rooms do not give you much sea view. The standard rooms at Mazagan however are exceptional and all bathrooms have walk in shower and separate large bath.

There are also some amazing villas which are laid out alongside the golf course with spectacular views of the Gary Player links or the Ocean, these are very large and expensive, but superbly well appointed.

Mazagan is owned by the Kerzner Group, who boast such properties as The Atlantis on the Palm in Dubai, the One and Only Royal Mirage in Dubai etc. Their attention to detail in staff training is exceptional and Mazagan has a superb team of staff to make your memorable even more special.

At Mazagan you can enjoy some stunning food and beverage outlets within the main building, there is none better than the sea food,fish restaurant known as the Sel de Mar which is outstanding in all aspects. The buffet restaurant called the Market Place has show cooking and themed buffets which are constantly changing. The Fusion restaurant which combines Asian and Moroccan cuisine is also a must try venue. The beach restaurants which are open during the day are brilliant and you really are on the beach looking out over the sea. There is even a Sushi option.

The much more than just a hotel, it is a very extensive resort with something for everyone, young or old. The special quad bikes can be taken out on the beach or though the lovely forest which lies adjacent. There is an extensive archery range, full size soccer pitch and training academy. There is a Riding stables and one can do some amazing trekking through beach or forest.

Mazagan boasts a superb spa which lies between the golf club and the hotel and also house a state of the art gymnasium, with exercise classes, the Spa has 20 treatment rooms some of which are double size, some of which are outside looking out over the beach. The Spa has won many awards across Africa and is well worth indulging in.
