Discover what makes this resort special. Here are our personal highlights.
The gastronomy at Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort & Spa is delicious and truly memorable. There are three restaurant options for you, each serving typical Spanish cuisine as well as a selection of innovative and daring dishes. El Churrasco is a meat-lover’s paradise, where they specialise in Aberdeen Angus and Argentinian meats; La Toscana is a mouth-watering Italian restaurant; and you can also enjoy buffet breakfasts and themed evening buffets, too. Once you have eaten, there are two fabulous bars to head to, both with a unique ambience. During the day there are four snack bars located at the resort’s pools.
For those enjoying a golfing holiday with their loved ones, Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort & Spa has plenty of options. The Miniclub caters for 4-12 year-olds, with a whole host of fun activities and workshops, a mini-disco and a children’s play area. The hotel also offers a babysitting service if needed.
The Corallium Spa is the ideal place in which to relax, refresh and rejuvenate in an extraordinary setting. Try its special “Spa Experience” circuit, which consists of soothing treatments using different temperatures of natural water, specifically designed to encourage the elimination of toxins, to promote relaxation and harmony and to strengthen the cardiovascular and immune systems.
Golf Courses
The hotel is perfectly located next to many fantastic golf courses, including those listed below.
This stunning championship course is 10 minutes from the hotel; it sits next to the ocean and is fringed by the Canary Mountains on one side and Pasito Blanco harbour on the other. Peppered with swaying palm trees and small lakes, playing golf here feels like you are in a tropical oasis. Designed by renowned architect Ron Kirby, the course blends seamlessly into the natural landscape and terrain. Highlights include hitting shots over Canarian valleys created from volcanic rocks.
A Spanish PGA Championship level test host, Anfi Tauro is less than 20 minutes away from the hotel. The 18-hole golf course is challenging and innovative, set in acres of lush green gardens and bordered by mighty volcano-shaped mountains. Parkland-themed, Anfi Tauro is reminiscent of an Amazon desert course, and the coastal breeze adds that little bit extra resistance to a game. Signature holes include the par-3 6th hole and par-6 13th hole.
This Ron Kirby designed links-style course is a challenge, but one with breathtaking vistas. Buggies are compulsory on this course, which adapts to its volcanic rock surroundings. There are water hazards, sloped terrains and holes that weave across the undulating landscape.
