The bright and spacious Golfside rooms at The Europe Hotel & Resort are a haven of tranquillity. These rooms enjoy natural views of the gardens at the eastern side of the hotel, some with views of the greens and fairways of the adjacent Killarney Golf & Fishing Club.

 

The Superior Golfside Rooms, situated on the 3rd floor of the hotel, all enjoy east facing views of the gardens at the side of the hotel and/or the 17th Green of Mahony’s Point Golf Course. Each room features a super king size bed, a large lounge style seating area leading onto the oversized balcony and a spacious marble finished shower room.
Located within the wing of the hotel, these rooms all offer breath-taking views of the Lower Lake of Killarney, MacGillycuddy’s Reeks Mountain Range and manicured gardens.

Relax from the privacy of the spacious south-facing balcony, boasting stunning direct views over the manicured gardens, Lough Lein and MacGillycuddy’s Reeks. Located within the main hotel building and thoughtfully furnished with every modern convenience, these large rooms feature rich wooden panelling, new multimedia system, wingback armchair and modern technologies.All rooms have either 1 x King Size double bed or 2 x continental single beds in the twin rooms, large en-suite bathroom with separate bath & shower and luxurious amenities.

The Superior Lakeview Rooms at The Europe Hotel & Resort offer ultimate comfort and are ideal for multiple night stays or for guests who like a little more space to relax in.

A welcoming and restful sanctuary, these rooms all offer spectacular views across Lough Lein and the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks mountain range, and are complete with bright south facing, oversized, private balcony and outdoor furniture.

Luxury and beauty are reflected in each carefully chosen feature, including the plush super king size bed complete with bedding exclusively designed for The Europe, a large lounge style seating area leading and a spacious en-suite with a rain shower, bath and luxurious amenities.

There are 3 of these suites at The Europe, designed with an eclectic flair, mixing traditional architectural detailing, transitional furniture and bright colour accent. Both lounge and bedroom have panoramic views of the lake. The layout accommodates a separate study area with a darker accent wall, creating a cozy and intimate space. Fireplace, 4 poster bed, and leather upholstered doors give a very residential and luxurious feel to the Suite.

The One Bedroom Penthouse Suite offers luxury and elegance in a contemporary style. Framed by a backdrop of the Lake, Mountains and golf course, this suite includes 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a guest cloakroom, spacious and bright separate living room plus a large balcony taking in some of Kerry’s finest views.

The Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite is a stunning option for a special occasion or multiple night stay with friends or family. Panoramic views of the Lake and Mountains are witnessed from all areas, and this suite includes 1 double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, an additional 1 twin bedroom, large guest bathroom, spacious separate living & dining room plus a large balcony on which to sit and take in the surroundings.

The Europe Hotel & Resort offers a number of flexible options when looking for restaurants in Killarney, Ireland. Our luxury hotel has a choice of restaurants, from formal fine dining, to a more relaxed affair.

The SPA CAFE  is open daily from 12noon to 5pm, serving lunch, brunch and healthy snacks and again for dinner from 6pm – 10pm (seasonal). This light and airy dining room enjoys sweeping views over the lake and mountains beyond.

The BRASSERIE RESTAURANT has a terrace for relaxed al fresco dining – one of only a few restaurants in Killarney that can offer this in addition to the commanding views of the lakes. Open daily it offers a great choice  from light snacks to opulent meals.

The award winning fine dining PANORAMA RESTAURANT is the top Killarney restaurant for gourmet food. It has one of the most enviable views in Ireland with vistas of the Lakes of Killarney as well as mountains and gardens stretching before you as you dine

Golf Courses

Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is one of Ireland’s most prestigious and historic golf clubs. Located in Killarney National Park, surrounded by the lakes of Lough Leane, Killarney Golf & Fishing Club is a Four-Time host to the Irish Open and home to two 18-hole championship courses.

Killeen has hosted the Irish Open four times and is a “must play” course when you visit Killarney.

Sister course, Mahony’s Point offers spectacular views of the famous Killarney Lakes overlooked by the McGillicuddy Reeks, the highest mountain range in Ireland. The final three holes are breathtaking as you play towards the lake with the 18th hole described as one of the most memorable holes in golf.
