The August Bank Holiday weekend this year saw the Elegant Golf Resorts Team head north of the border and up to Balmedie in Aberdeenshire, Scotland where the legendary Trump International Golf Links Scotland was hosting The Legends Staysure PGA Seniors Championship.

As proud sponsors of The Legends Tour we hosted a stand in the Championship Village at the event and spent four great days catching up with some of our many Elegant Golf Resorts guests as well as meeting new ones. It was an absolute pleasure to chat all things golf to some many avid fans as well as talking holidays – past and upcoming plans. Two of our favourite topics!

Well organised and very enjoyable, the Tournament was a huge success and the great weather helped too.  Not forgetting the venue, since opening for play in 2012 Trump International Golf Links has earnt a reputation as one of the very best courses in the country and it made for some spectacular golf!

There were many highlights of the four days but our key stand out moments include listening to José María Olazábal & Paul Lawrie doing a storytelling Q&A to the patrons in the middle of the Championship Village, watching our CEO Edward Rom and Rudimental’s Leon Locksmith playing together on Day One and our amazing view point of the tee on the second hole. We also had the privilege of sharing the Legends Coach with all the celebs and sports stars to the venue from our hotel!

Our congratulations to Peter Baker who won the professional tournament and Brian McFadden who won as the Celebrity Amateur and also our own CEO, Edward Rom, who’s team won the Alliance Team Match.
