From late October through until March, snow appears on these magnificent mountains, offering beautiful views from the hotel as the sun shimmers off the mountain tops. There is an overwhelming sense of tranquillity and understated elegance at Fairmont Royal Palm. All the suites are spread across 4 separate buildings, whilst the main reception, bars and restaurant are all located in one large building. The Spa here is wonderful and beautifully designed and appointed, the attention to detail is unrivalled.

This resort truly does represent peace, romance and relaxation. The hotel staff are amongst the finest we have seen, always on hand to help and all minor details are certainly taken care of. The hotel also boasts excellent Spa facilities, offering a range of great massages, with a hammam and excellent swimming pool, this truly is a relaxing setting to enjoy, perhaps as an alternative to golf. The swimming pool area offers an extremely tranquil setting with the calming sensation of waterfalls surrounding, a lovely restful area to enjoy the pleasing Moroccan sunshine, with an abundance of sun beds spread across the whole area. The kids club is also included as complimentary to resort guests and open from 09.00 hrs until 23.00hrs, offering great entertainment for children, with mini tennis courts and a variety of games rooms.

During your time in Morocco we would highly recommend taking an excursion to The Atlas Mountains, to visit the beautiful waterfalls and perhaps enjoy some freshly made Moroccan Tea at one of the locals houses in a beautiful village called Imlil. The Moroccan people are extremely welcoming and thrive on visitors coming to meet them. We would also advise visiting the Souks in the centre of Marrakech to take in the true feeling of the bustling streets of the ancient Menara (walled city), the Moroccan’s freely encourage bartering and it can be really great fun, we would suggest a short 3 hour accompanied excursion into the Souks to absorb the culture of this truly magnificent city.

As a golf resort, the Fairmont Royal Palm is perfect for the discerning golfer, looking to enjoy some very playable golf courses in the nearby area. The Royal Palm’s own golf course boasts 18 exciting golf holes, offering a thrilling game of golf for all levels of golfer. Also located nearby to The Royal Palm are Samanah, Assoufid and Noria golf courses, providing tougher challenges, however equally as enjoyable, with the hotel offering complimentary ground transfers to Samanah for Elegant Golf Resorts guests. As the Royal Palm golf course is owned by the hotel, it is just a swift 4 minute buggy ride to the club house. A brand new clubhouse is also being built at present and is set to be opened by September 2016, offering an additional fantastic spot to enjoy a bite to eat and a beer after golf.
