El Rompido Golf Resort

El Rompido is a very relaxed 5 star golf resort. The modern yet welcoming reception leads way to a great bar area where you can enjoy a drink overlooking the swimming pool, golf courses and out to sea. The 185 bedrooms at El Rompido are excellent, very well decorated and all come with balcony/terrace.

It is well worth upgrading to the Superior Rooms as they enjoy lovely views over the golf course, swimming look and ocean.

There is a very nice outdoor pool area with a good bar and grill called El Faro.

The resort also features a luxurious spa with indoor pool, steam room, Jacuzzi and selection of treatment rooms. There is a fitness centre attached and enjoys views over the gardens.

The hotel is a half board resort meaning breakfast and dinner is included each day. The restaurant is very nice and offers a good breakfast selection combined with an ever changing buffet dinner in the evening. The resort also offers the option to upgrade to Semi All Inclusive which includes unlimited alcoholic and soft drinks between 5pm and Midnight daily when you stay 7 nights!

El Rompido has 2 terrific golf courses onsite called the North and South courses. The North course is the strongest of the two courses with some stunning hotels looking over the nature reserve of the River Piedras Wetlands and out towards Puerto El Rompido itself. The South course is the newest of the courses and is a very enjoyable experience, easy walking with two contrasting nines in terms of shot making ability, the greens are amongst the fastest in the region here!
