The 2023 Legends Tour gets into full swing on 19th May at a yet to be confirmed European golf hotspot.

The 82nd KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship
Steven Alker achieved a historic feat as he claimed his first Senior Major title. His impressive performance saw him card an eight under par of 63, four shots ahead of Stephen Ames of Canada and others in the chasing pack such as Bernhard Langer and Miguel Ángel Jiménez.
PGA Frisco, Texas
PGA Frisco is the new home of the PGA of America. Spanning an impressive 2,500-acres, it includes two 18-hole championship courses, a 10-hole short course, and a 30 acre practice facility. Jersey Legends 2022
It was a tight battle between Richard Green and Paul Lawrie at the 2022 Jersey Legends event held at La Moye Golf Club. After finishing tied with scores of 10 under par. In the end, it was Green who emerged triumphant by making a par on the third play-off hole to claim his first ever Legends Tour title.

Irish Legends 2023
In 2023, the Irish Legends returns to the stunning Seapoint Golf Link in Co Louth, Ireland. Last year’s championship was won by Phillip Price of Wales with Level Par (213), edging out his competitors such as Jarmo Sandelin, Paul Eales, Peter Baker and Emauele Canonica by a single stroke.

Seapoint Golf Links, located in Co Louth, Ireland, is a fairly modern golf course that has already achieved much. Since it opened its doors in 1995, Seapoint has hosted a European Tour matchplay tournament, two Irish PGAs and the Irish Amateur Close Championship – testament to the course’s quality and challenge.

US Senior Open 2023
SentryWorld will be the stage for the US Senior Open in 2023, holding the 43rd edition of the competition from June 29th to July 2nd. It is a fitting choice for the tournament, having never held a USGA championship previously and boasting a sprawling 200-acre golf course situated in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

The Senior Open presented by Rolex
In 2023, Swansea Bay Golf Club will host the 36th edition of The Senior Open Presented by Rolex. This event marks the third time that a Senior Major Championship has been held at the South Wales venue. The golf course offers a challenging yet picturesque view over Swansea Bay and Gower Peninsula, which has also played host to numerous prestigious tournaments such as The Amateur and Walker Cup.
The Venue
The Venue Royal Porthcrawl Golf Club is a highly regarded golf course located in Wales. Established in 1891, the club was initially a nine hole course until an additional nine holes were added four years later. In 1909, the club gained royal status, becoming only the second club in Wales to be granted this prestigious privilege. The first major tournament held at the venue was The Amateur Championship in 1951.

Italian Senior Open returns in 2023
The Italian Senior Open will make a triumphant return to the 2023 Legend Tour schedule. In 2022, golfers battled it out for the title at the Argentario Golf and Wellness Resort. Last year’s tournament saw Ricardo Gonzalez of Argentina outlast James Kingston to claim first place.

Paul Lawrie clinched his second Legends Tour title of the 2022 season via a play-off
Paul Lawrie clinched his second Legends Tour title of the 2022 season via a play-off after putting in a strong performance on the final round. He was five shots behind leader, Jonas Jonzon at the start of the day, but an eagle on the 3rd hole set him off on a good run. Birdies between the 6th and 9th holes meant that he headed into the back nine with only two shots behind Jonzon.
With Lawrie making birdie on his final hole, he and Jonzon both found themselves playing a play-off. After making his 15ft putt, Lawrie gave himself a chance at eagle to as they moved to a second play-off hole, however Jonzon’s putt rolled wide – handing Lawrie victory!
