A superb hotel with a beachfront setting on Saadiyat Island

The St Regis is the new address to take notice of these days in the Middle East. Located on the Saadiyat Island beach complex this is pure paradise and a beach area far superior to any of those to be found in Dubai. Natural sand dunes flank pristine white sand beaches which extend as far as the eye can see. The pool and sun terrace areas are simply outstanding and mirror the true class of the St Regis brand. The service levels and cuisine here at the St Regis are exceptional as are the leisure facilities, the hotel is bright and always reflects in the sun from the natural light from this incredible beach front location, it is one of the most stunning hotels for interior design in the Middle East and the bedrooms are large, luxurious and spacious.

We would always recommend picking ocean view rooms rather than golf course view but both are first class. You can take advantage of the truly stunning on-site golf course the Saadiyat Golf Club and also the Abu Dhabi National and Yas Links courses when staying here. The St Regis Saadiyat is 25 minutes from Abu Dhabi International airport and 90 minutes from Dubai International airport. It is 2 minutes from the Saadiyat Clubhouse, 15 minutes from Yas Links and 25 minutes from Abu Dhabi National Golf Club.

Restaurants & Bars

There’s a great selection of restaurants and cuisines to be enjoyed at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi. Oléa serves up superb Mediterranean cuisine with a stylish atmosphere of Friday Brunch. Sontaya’s menu is graced with fare inspired by Southeast Asia and The Drawing Room is the place to be for freshly-baked goods and a sweet treat. We love the old-school Greek flavours on offer at MAZI where getting together and sharing dishes is encouraged. You can also enjoy a drink at the Manhattan Lounge, and enjoy Pacific Rim cuisine at Buddha Bar Beach.

Family

The Sandcastle Club is the perfect retreat for little ones aged from 1 to 12 years old. Children aged 4 years old and below must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. An adventurous and enchanting play area, the club is set within a cave-themed space and features indoor and outdoor play areas, a sand pit and an outdoor pool. There is also a family pool and a children’s pool with water slide.

Golf

Located adjacent to the resort is the renowned Saadiyat Beach Golf Club with its superb par seventy-two, eighteen-hole links golf course designed by the legendary professional golfer, Gary Player. Gently undulating down to the beach, dunes and the Arabian Gulf beyond, the championship-level coastal fairways, bunkers and greens offer a super challenge to golfers of all abilities and are surrounded by palm trees and lakes to add an extra frisson of difficulty to the round. Guests of The St. Regis Saadiyat Beach Resort can request accommodation that skirts around part of the course, providing excellent views of the rounds in play. The Golf Club also boasts a restaurant, golf shop, practice facilities and a golf academy with professional instruction
