Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links is one of the most respected venues in world golf.
Overlooking the Irish Sea, The Portmarnock Hotel is situated between the beautiful, picturesque villages of Malahide and Howth.
Located just outside Dublin, only 15 minutes from Dublin Airport, Portmarnock is a great spot. Once the family home of the famous Jameson Whiskey Dynasty, Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links is now a spectacular place to stay for golfers.
The Links Portmarnock opened for play in 1995 and was designed by Bernard Langer, this is an acclaimed gem that offers world-class links golf. The hotel is also adjacent to the Portmarnock Golf Club.
The hotel has 138 comfortable rooms, which combine modern style with the splendour of a 19th-century residence and make for a welcoming stay. Guests can choose from a range of superior, deluxe and family rooms or suites.
There is a good selection of eateries at your disposal, with the recently re-styled ‘The 1780’ Brasserie offering quality local cuisine, the Seaview Bar, perfect for light meals and snacks, and the Jameson Bar, the perfect location for a leisurely drink.
For time off the golf course, The Spa, on-site at Portmarnock Hotel, offers fantastic spa packages and also has a sauna and gym.

Portmarnock Links is a wonderfully natural links course situated at the Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links. Often lost amongst the impressive array of established links courses on the Dublin coast, Portmarnock Links is a Bernard Langer design that’s ranked top 25 in Ireland and has been surprising visitors since its opening in 1996. It’s hard to beat in terms of value for money.
Next to the Portmarnock Hotel is Portmarnock Golf Club. It sits majestically on a narrow tongue of shallow duneland and remains one of the most respected venues in world golf. With 19 stagings of the European Tour’s Irish Open Championship having been held here.
