Costa Brava
Serviced by Girona airport, which has about 10 major UK flight routes exclusively with Ryanair, the airport is just 7 minutes from the PGA Catalunya Golf Resort and less than 1 hour to Emporda and Platja Pals. Brava means "rugged" in English and this is the coastline most like Devon or Cornwall, small golden sand beaches nestled between rocky cliffs, small mountains and whitewash medieval villages.
This is the richest Province in Spain and also one of the most enjoyable to visit from the point of view of scenery and culture, plus the Catalan cuisine is world famous, combining aspects of French cuisine with rustic local fayre, superb value and generous helpings and loads of flavour. The Costa Brava is real Spain but the locals like to think they are not really Spanish – the Catalans are proud of their heritage and want separation. The Costa Brava has wonderful golf courses and we have selected the 3 best which also have their own golf hotels on site. Pals, PGA Catalunya and Emporda, all 3 offering 36 holes of golf.
