Brittany

Brittany is a lovely part of France, brimming with stunning scenery - lots of rugged countryside, an amazing coastline and definitely the best area for sailing in France. The coastline is full of little inlets and golden sand beaches and rocky coves.

It has to be one of the favourites for the British holiday maker to explore and has many similarities to Cornwall in England. Brittany is very unspoilt and sparsely populated and is famous for its cheeses, patisserie and of course its cider.

Our featured resort of La Baule has the most spectacular beach of all - a vast C Shaped bay and just located 20 minutes south of the Lucien Barriere Golf Resort - Hotel Du Golf Internationale. Here you can stay and play the superb 45 holes on site or pop over for a game at the famous La Bretesche course in the grounds of a magnificent Chateau - just 15 minutes drive away at Missillac.
