Ayrshire Coast
The Ayrshire coastline is a remarkable one with so many links courses from a James Braid design in the south at Stranraer, all the way up to the isolated setting of Turnberry and then on to Ayr and up to Glasgow where there are the great tracks of Western Gailes, Glasgow Gailes, Bogside, Royal Troon, Kilmarnock Barassie, Prestwick etc.
We only feature the Turnberry Resort, but are quite happy to include golf at some of the other famous links venues on offer. There are some fine boutique hotels in and around Troon,but Turnberry is a class way above any other hotel option in Ayrshire. If you are a corporate group we can also hire private castles also at Blairquahan, for example.
Turnberry is the driest location on the west coast and is a super venue for a short break all year round, the Ailsa never closes for frost or snow as you just don’t get that type of weather on the coast.
