The Montgomerie is the course in Belek now having hosted the European Tour penultimate tournament in November 2013, prior to the Race to Dubai week. The course is magnificent, designed over sand ridges, which are peppered with massive umbrella pine trees, there are 18 amazing holes to challenge, some short risk and reward par 4s and some monster par 4s, some great par 5s, mixed in with some great short holes. Every hole threads its way through trees, but it never feels too tight, but it does feel majestic. The final hole is a classic downhill, uphill par 5, whilst the 9th is also a superb par 4 dog leg with water all the way down the right hand side. The Montgomerie is mostly now exclusive to residents of the Voyage Belek or the Maxx Royal.
The hotel, staff and all services are completely first class. The suites are amazing, they are huge and extremely comfortable. Restaurants, bars and beach facilities are again first class. It compares to the Atlantis in Dubai for comfort but Maxx Royal is all inclusive therefore it wins hands down! I would definitely return Anonymous (Sep.15)
We had a great time at the Maxx Royal on our recent holiday. The hotel ( our third experience in Belek) was definitely a cut above our previous visits and I would recommend it as a true 5 star deluxe hotel. The service couldn't be faulted and the staff were exceptionally friendly and warm towards their British guests. Food again was good for an all inclusive with plenty of good options if you are not a fan of a buffet restaurant. Definite favourites restaurant was the steak restaurant at the golf club. It really was excellent as was our waiter. The family suites were clean well furnished and luxurious . Probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. If you pushed me my only comment would be I would have liked a little more room in the main bedroom as I would prefer to have a dressing table than be relegated to the bathroom to dry my hair! The golfing set up really was first class. A exquisitely beautiful and challenging course with plenty to test any golfer especially a female 36 handicapper! Imagine my delight at my birdie! It is bunker and water hazard heaven but really stunning to look at. Immaculately maintained and really invested in to keep in top condition even in the incredible July heat! The eighteenth has the added anguish of being right in front of the excellent club house! Beers and lunch there all inclusive were a real treat. Played the Tat, and the Nick Faldo before but I really thought this was on a different level. Let's hope the quality is retained after the Turkish open of 2015. I can't fault the transfer service. It was efficient, comfortable and relaxed and our host greeted as well to ensure we were settled in. So all in all an excellent, stress free holiday in a super hotel with the added benefit of exceptional golfing! Thank you for being so efficient Gary in sorting it all out. I would certainly recommend you and your company to others in the future. Kathleen Jones (Jul.14)
We thought that the Maxx Royal was an absolutely superb hotel, the food, the rooms, the situation was absolutely excellent. The golf courses were equally so, difficult enoughto be challenging, and good enough to be fun. We loved all our days out on the Course each one different, each one interesting and very playable. I think the Sultan was my favourite. Our day out touring in Side and Managavat were great too and the hotel provided us with an excellent car and driver at what we thought was a very reasonable price. If the prices are set too high, then one loses interest in going and prefers to rather lounge at the beach. All in all Belek was an outstanding success and we will most certainly tell all our friends as well as be back there before too long to enjoy another week. It was quite superb. Thank you for all the assistance you gave us, it was a great pleasure meeting you and doing business with you, hopefully it will not be too long before we meet up again. Cheri Tory (Jun.14)
Overall experience far exceeded my expectations, Villa was fantastic, Options for kids, including water park, were top notch, Service of staff rivalled that of a Ritz Carlton / Four Seasons resort, Golf facilities were exactly what you would expect from a world-class venue, the steak we ate in the Montgomerie clubhouse (Bueno Steak) rivalled that of any steak I’ve ever eaten – including world-famous Peter Luger’s in NYC - Justin Miller (Apr.14)
Having just returned from our golf break in Turkey, staying at the Maxx Royal, I thought it was appropriate to give you some feedback. The hotel was excellent , as you had experienced yourself. The suites are something to behold, American in style & size. The staff & service were 1st class, as we have always found in Turkey. - Stuart Wilson
Just wanted to tell you that we had a fabulous holiday at The Maxx Royal in Belek. John and Andrew enjoyed the golf and Sue and I enjoyed the hotel and pools. We are just deciding whether to go there again this time next year. Matrix were brilliant too. - Kathy Smart
Peter and I had a lovely break at The Maxx Royal and managed to play all our golf in 18 degrees of sunshine ( I had forgotten what it looked like!) Thank you again for hosting a fab day at Brockett Hall and providing, not only a great day, but a nice prize that Peter fortunately, won. We are looking forward to many more Elegant Golf Resort Holidays. - Ilsa Bellion
