La Manga has always been Spain’s most famous sports and golfing resort across the world and has always been very popular with even the American market, probably because it is run by Hyatt, a brand name synonymous with high quality service and fine food and beverage.
The Hotel was completely upgraded during the 2007 season and by March 2008, the bedrooms had a new look and style, whilst the public areas, like the reception and the lobby areas were entirely re-designed and now have a much more spacious and stylish overall look. The hotel has been the number one choice for Britain’s sporting stars for many years now and many celebrities take their winter or summer break here, to take up their favourites sports, whether it be golf, golf tuition, tennis, bowls or even cricket. In the summer months the resort even has its own private beach which is accessible at the back of the resort on the other side of the mountain.
Las Lomas is the up market apartment complex on the La Manga Resort, with great offers available based on 2 sharing de luxe apartments with breakfast, from as little as £499 pp for 7 nights, with 6 green fees included. Alternatively, you can swap any of the rounds of golf for spa treatments or dinners in the Amapola Restaurant.
The North and South golf course lie adjacent to the hotel and just a 5 minute walk from the reception area, whilst the West course is about a 5 minute shuttle transfer away operating from a different starting point on much higher land.
La Manga Club has been voted Spain's "Best Hotel & Resort" in the inaugural Today’s Golfer Travel Awards and also ‘Best Family Friendly’ within the European Resort Hotel category of the Sunday Times Travel Magazine Reader Awards
