Verdura's 4 restaurants will provide an extensive choice of exceptional menus created by Salvatore Barbara captained by a Michelin-starred Chef Fulvio Pierangelini and using locally sourced fresh ingredients.
- BUONGIORNO: a casual restaurant, which serves a well-assorted buffet breakfast. It is then open exclusively for children's dinners.
- LA ZAGARA: a sophisticated restaurant in the main building, overlooking the sea and the gardens, which offers a la Carte dinner. The menu features different styles of Mediterranean cuisine with Sicilian influences.
- LIOLA: this is the ideal place for a casual meal. It is located by the Torre Club House and with a stunning sea view terrace.
- AMARE: the perfect venue for a casual lunch or a romantic candle-lit dinner just steps from the shore, with stunning sea views.
Specialties are fresh seafood, grilled fish and meat. We offer our guests the possibility of ordering in-room dining (24-hour menu) as well as a Romantic Dining Experience.
Set apart from the rest of the resort, the 4,000sq m Verdura Spa offers the ultimate in rest and relaxation. The Spa comprises 11 treatment rooms, a terrace for outdoor treatments, a 70sq m relaxation area, a spacious 170sq m fully-equipped gym with a glass wall overlooking the golf course, a 25sq m covered swimming pool, a large wooden-decked terrace with 4 thalasso-therapy pools and sun lounges, an impressive double-height hammam and experience showers and sauna. A separate beauty area offers facilities for manicure, pedicure and hairdressing.
Personal programmes are developed and tailored to suit individual requirements, from pampering and beauty treatments to golf-related exercise, massage and diet and nutrition.
The Resort offers a stunning 70-metre two-tiered swimming pool overlooking the sea, with an extensive sunbathing area, private beach, tennis centre with 6 floodlit tennis courts, yoga classes, water sports, cooking classes, a diving centre, a gelaterie serving delicious home-made ice creams and local pastries, four bars including a poolside bar and four restaurants including a beach restaurant. Bikes are available for hire for both children and adults.
Also available off-site are horse riding, land and sea excursions, scuba diving as well as fishing. The Verdura is perfectly situated to visit delicious vineyards, the Greek Temples of Agrigento and of course, the nearby town of Sciacca.
Families with children of all ages will benefit from our extensive children's programme, which includes a dedicated Kid's Club area complete with a children's pool, open 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm on a full or half day options. It welcomes children aged 5 to 12 years old. Another dedicated programme is also offered to the teenagers from 12 years and above.
A full babysitting service is available as well, using fully qualified and experienced babysitters.
