El Gouna 18-hole golf course is a USPGA championship course (PAR 72) designed by the well known architect Gene Bates in co-operation with the world top golfer Fred Couples. The golf course is strategically nestled in the desert surrounded by the Red Sea Lagoons, which act as its water hazard system. The course promises golfers of all levels plenty of exciting rounds, six sets of tee's on each hole, tight lush fairways and fast undulating greens that meet both the European and American PGA standards.
The course measures 6900 yards along with a full state of the art aqua driving range complex. The course is rated by "course rating system" of the German Golf association (CR/Slope). The complex includes three set of practice tee's hosting about 35 golfers on the range, a huge putting green and another one in front of the club house and furthermore a chip and pitch area.
As rental service the club offers club carts, trolleys and sets of clubs. German and English specking PGA golf professionals provide lessons and courses for beginner and advanced golfers.
