The rooms at Penina have been renamed because of the refurbishment, the standard cheaper rooms are now called Classic twins or doubles, which have been totally re-modelled and still have mountain view.
The superior rooms are exactly the same size as the classics but have pool view. There are 6 junior suites, all with pool view, which have an extra room a lounge, which can also be converted into a bedroom for 2 children and is free for 2 extra beds accordingly. The old attic rooms are now called studios and are on the top floor with a little sitting area up some steps,but with smaller balconies. 95% of all rooms at Penina do have balconies.
There are in addition several magnificent grand suites which are ideal for 4 adults with 2 children, for example. All the rooms have been re-modelled, in the 2008 season.
The bedrooms overlook the swimming pool, the golf course, the gardens or the Monchique mountains inland.
