Overlooking the magnificent Red Sea and hotels, Madinat Makadi Golf Course is a significant 7,500 yards in length, making it one of the longest in the region. The course was designed by John Sanford of Sanford Golf Design and incorporates 18 hole par 72 championship, 9 hole par 3 Executive course, both built to USGA standards.

The course is designed to match the best world standards and is surrounded by residential units, lagoons and beautiful scenery. Three salt water lakes that spring from beach wells feature in the design. The clubhouse complex offers changing facilities, locker rooms . A fully stocked Pro Shop can hire out clubs, trolleys and carts as well as selling many accessories.

Also European and local professional golf teachers offer single and group-lessons and also golf-clinics. A fully rental service is offered in pull-trolleys and sets of golf clubs.
