Originally, the Heritage was established as the only Premium All Inclusive resort on the Island of Mauritius, but more recently it has changed its policy to be based on half board and not all inclusive, with a premium supplement of £89 per night to upgrade to this option.
Now we highly recommend this upgrade option, if you will take advantage of a daily Spa treatment and at the same time would normally spend a lot on food and beverage, which does tend to be expensive everywhere in 5 star Mauritian resorts. Indeed, you could save a lot of money, if you do upgrade, plus all motorised water sports are included on the all inclusive option and don’t forget all beverages are included including champagnes, a fine selection of wines and the best quality liquors too. 24 hour complimentary room service is included also, which allows you the flexibility to eat in your room or on your terrace, for a change. One option is to upgrade to all inclusive for your second and final week and go half board for the first week.
In terms of accommodation the standard de luxe bedrooms are great, they are all 52 sq metres in size but the standards would only have partial sea view, if you wish to be closer to the beach we highly recommend upgrading to beach front or full ocean view doubles instead.
The deals at the Heritage are incredible especially if you stay at certain times of year for up to 14 nights, because the second week add on is such good value.
