If you fancy playing a couple of rounds "off resort," then please let us know in advance and we can quote you for the Belle Mare Links course which is about 45 minutes drive or the amazing Le Touessrok Golf Course which is just 15 minutes drive away to the private jetty where a boat is taken across to Ile aux Cerfs.
Imagine a course designed through mature woodland, with always a hint of the Ocean as you play, wide and fair majestic tee shots into lush but well bunkered fairways, which give it a kind of Wentworth sort of feel, but around the greens lots of swales and run offs into valleys or large pot bunkers, well this is the spirit of Anahita, it is simply Ernie Els's new masterpiece.
Ernie Els has had a lot of personal involvement in the project and it will be his second course worldwide to be opened! The quality of the grasses used and the attention to detail is second to none! One of the best holes is a par 3 of 250 yards, which necessitates a 3 wood or dirver depending on the prevailing wind across a big valley with a large well bunkered green, surrounded by beautiful red berried Flammant trees and the Indian Ocean directly behind!
Another par 5 roller coaster hole heads straight out through forest to a green by the ocean, with links style pot bunkers and lots of humps and bumps, especially around the green! The finishing 2-3 holes climax the round and head to a point and then back along the ocean front back to the clubhouse, stunning finale and very dramatic.
