British Airways Golf Club Policy
On 1 August 2009 British Airways decided to start charging for golf club carriage for all flights across the Globe. No matter the Cabin Class you have, booked the same policy applies, amazing but true. There is now a £30 charge payable only at your departure airport for your return journey. This is simply a new means for British Airways to make money following their disappointing financial results in 2008-9 in the worldwide economic downturn. Unfortunately, this new policy brings British Airways closer to the no frills airlines like Ryanair who charge as much as £30 each flight sector, double that of British Airways.
